SANDY GREEN

 I used to hate green colour, it was dull and boring to me, untill recently! I literally became a green fan..) Some people have green thumbs, some green footprints, but I just love to wear it. It's full of life, joy, deepness and perspective.  Gradually it pushes away every other color from my wardrobe - this obsession now spreads to furniture accents  and even candles.. like lemon chiffon or lime delight..)) I'm even thinking to do a "green chapter" on my blog featuring 10-15 outfits...no judgement, deal?.)

I'm looking forward to the change in the weather, so that I can "officially" open fall season with its deep magenta -plum,  emerald green, reddish-brown shades. Dramatical, sort of "femme fatale" fashion season.
But since our summer seems to last longer, so do its trends. Wide pants, platform shoes, playful combination of leopard and tiger stripes, fresh orange top - that's how I feel this weekend!

С нетерпением жду более прохладной погоды, чтобы открыть осенний сезон с его глубокими сливовыми, изумрудными, болотными, рыжими сочетаниями. Драматично, в стиле femme fatale..)
Но раз наше лето продолжается, значит и его веяния. Широкие брюки, кокетливая игра леопарда с тигром..), свежий апельсиновый топ - таково мое настроение сегодня!

Pineapple & honey pancakes

Honey pancakes made of buttermilk is one of my favourite desserts, my granny used to make it for breakfast and its sweet delicious smell used to wake me up in a moment, I would rush to the kitchen and  eat till I could not pronounce a word. Granny used to put sugar on the top, but now I love fresh pineapples and apricot fruit spread more than anything. I was craving for something sweet today so here we go...sharing my recipe with you, it's simple and easy to make. Enjoy!

You'll need :

1 cup of buttermilk, little salt, 2-3 tablespoon of sugar , 2 eggs - mix it all in a bowl
gradually add 1 cup of flour. Finish the batter with 1/2 table spoon of baking soda and lighly stir it.
Use vegetavle oil and remember to cover the frying pan with the lid or the pancakes won't turn out puffy..)
I sprinkle honey on the top, serve hot and try not to overeat! Trust me, it can happen!..) 

BLACK & WHITE

 In the search of something airy and breezy , something subtle and romantic I opened the closed and this dress smiled to me right away, hem rustled and 5 minutes later I was outside ...towards beautiful sunset, fully armed with high heels & bouquet of roses.  Black & white, my favourite contrast, one of the top 2011 fall trends, elegant, chic, simple but everlasting, no wonder it was one of the greatest inspirations of Coco Chanel!

Захотелось  воздушного романтичного образа, в то же время элегантного и простого. Открыла гардероб - и выглянуло оно ... кокетливо улыбнулось, прошелестело подолом и очутилось на мне. Пять минут спустя я неслась навстречу закату с букетом любимых роз, навстречу теплому вечеру, ароматному ветру и звенящему лепету цикад!

WHITE CROCHET

I'm having love affair with this white crochet dress, - time to go to the beach! Even though it's knit, it's so comfy and light, delicate innocence with a touch of seduction. It's made in Belarus, so it's homemade! Reminds me of our white field camomiles, airy and subtle. Coco Chanel once said: "Look for the woman in the dress. If there is no woman, there is no dress." Hope I still shine through..))  Ever since I saw "Just go with it" movie, that beautifull off-white crochet dress on Jennifer Aniston was haunting me and causing sleepless nights. For a long time I couldn't find anything remotely like that. But voila - and now I have something even better, it was made by my design and is unique in that sense!

У меня роман....- с платьем моей мечты..) После просмотра фильма с Дж. Энистон "Притворись моей женой" я влюбилась в платье исполнительницы, такое нежное, тонкое, в то же время соблазнительное...Это платье сделано по той же задумке, но в белорусском исполнении, воздушное и легкое, оно так и пахнет ромашками и васильками, поэтому я обыграла его яркими аксессуарами, но постаралась не перебить образ платья. Red rad skirt

Saturday evening. It was a great day, quiet, simple,lazy.Red skirt was chosen for the day as the contrast with the recent weather . Glass of  Riesling, chilled, with a hint of pear, sushi and favourite pirojki with apple filling for dessert - yumm and goodbye sixpack!..) - day of gastronomic indulgences! Hope everybody will have a great Sunday! Diet-free and full of fun!

Субботний вечер. Был замечательный день. Спокойный, незатейливый, ленивый. Бокал вина, суши, пирожки с яблоками на десерт - день обжорства!- что еще в жизни надо для полного счастья? Красная юбка - яркий контраст с погодой в последнее время, поэтому с удовольствием вывела ее в свет! Желаю всем хороших выходных, не омраченных диетами и дождливой погодой!

BEFORE THE HURRICANE

Ok, I have one day left before hurricane Irene hits southern part of US. Not excited. End of August - time to finally go to the beach..)) get my tan before the weather has its nervous breakdown ruining the coming weekend with storm, wind and God knows what else. Need more tan before summer is over!

Так, началось...ураган 3-4 категории по прогнозам "обрадует" всех южан США уже завтра. Времени  в обрез. Пока не начался шторм и погода окончательно не испортится на целую неделю, не знаю, как вы , а я ноги  в руки и в порядке срочной эвакуации ретируюсь на пляж, пока есть еще небольшой намек на загар а-ля август!
